1953 Clipper 4 dr.

This is not mine, but the Franklin Auto Museum in Tucson, AZ contacted me and asked if I knew anyone who would want to buy a 53 Packard Clipper. My wife said I can't, darn it! It looks like a fun project. I have known about this car for almost 20 years. It hasn't moved from the carport. So here is what they sent me. Call them for more information.

The Franklin Auto Museum in Tucson, AZ has a 1953 Clipper 4-dr. sedan that needs a new owner. It is too new for their collection.
Condition is complete, original and faded blue two-tone paint and interior. miles 90K, manual 3 spd. plus overdrive. Has extra cost pelican hood ornament, sun visor, backup light, radio, etc. Needs fuel system and brake hydraulic service to drive, and undoubtably other issues. Stored under cover. Would make a nice "patina" driver which is in favor around here, since the cost of paint went thru the roof...
Price is $ 5,000.00 as appraised, the right person with cash could do better, I would like to move it to someone in AZ. who would do something with it and go to cruise nights and shows to have fun with a Packard.
