i had seen several posts about Shell Rotella Manuel says SAE 140 for trans and overdrive. . Is that correct or 80/90 correct ?

Plenty of choices for gear oil for the trans and OD; to make matters simple you can use same lube most of us use for the differential, SAE85-140 GL-5 extreme pressure gear oil.
