Hi all, Yes, a 327/288 crank will fit into the same block ...just need the correct rods for the crank...288 rods for a 288 crank, etc. With regard to fitting 288, (327 has same block, bored out 60 thou for a bit more torque )

I'm a bit confused by the reference to the 327 being "bored out" relative to the 288. My understanding is, the 327 had the same bore as the 288 (3 1/2 in.) but was stroked (4 1/4" rather than the 288's 3 3/4" stroke). Am I misreading or misunderstanding something here?
