Correction on scuff plate removal

Sorry for this, but the pieces just clicked. Mine was so rusted I thought it was one piece when I took it off as that's how it came off. 1st Clue:JD at Max had told me a few weeks ago, they offer the SS trim piece which didn't fit my picture. I asked for pictures but he never responded. When I got the drawing for the SS piece it showed slots along where the scuff plate would mate. The scuff plate inner spring clip attachments are slotted so I thought(incorrectly) those were for them. 2nd Clue:After closer examine of my car, there's small phillips head screws with bits of sheet metal under them, along where the SS carpet trim piece fits. So I'm correcting that the scuff plate is most likely separate from the SS trim piece for removal. The rubber section is only held by two sets of 8 clips, inner and outer and not the SS trim nor attached to it. Pry up the inner clips first then the outers will disengage. So again, remove the scuff plate first, to get to the screws for the SS trim. Hope I got to this out quick enough and didn't cause anyone problems. I'll be able to double chekc this once I get the rest of the drawings.
