It is held in by 6 bolts. Two at the rear into the frame top, two at the front to the frame top and two on the side. To get maneuvering and access room you may find it preferable to remove the tire and lower fender splasher and work from the side. Mine is apart so can't show a full photo but that splasher is held with 4 bolts into frame, 2 or 3 at the front into the radiator cradle plus 2 or 3 at the rear connecting to the vertical back wheel splasher. You can possibly do all from the top but the bolts in the rear of tray are under it and may be difficult to reach. You will probably have to twist and jockey it around the clutch spring adjustment screw and the brake tubing before it comes out.
