If better, JW, it was completely by accident.

The electric fuel pump switch has a spring toggle in one direction and I use it just before starting the car if it's been sitting. I think it has helped me push through vapor lock once or twice. I have a foot-long piece of snap-over pipe insulation around it, lots of breathing room, just to keep it al from getting dirty under there.
