Thanks, BDeB. I also learned something new with those switches needing an extra step to disassemble. For future reference, do you have any photos of the guts you could post. The round metal interior part of knob assy looks similar to later switches so was wondering if the operation and the rest of the contact plates and spring arrangements are also about the same so the same info on places to check for failures could be used?
