Re: Safety wire fuel pump?

OK my head is spinning now. This reminds me of my handlebar mount for a 71 BSA motorcycle. When I purchased it it had just a couple of bolts holding them on. When I Saw an exploded view there were about 10'little rubber shims and vareous curved washers that were supposed to be there. So are new pn 9.2035 heat shields available, or do you make your own? I get the idea with the insulator parts around the mounting bolts, and the thick gasket to hold off heating the fuel pump. I will tackle this when I adjust the tappets Should make for a frustrating weekend. Also now I know why there is a L shaped bracket under the rear fuel pump mounting bolt. It must of been for the heat shield. Any help on sourcing parts is welcome.
