Custom Station Sedan at Auction

Perhaps some of you 22nd/23rd series people will remember this custom car which was featured in Robert Neal's book "Packard 1948-50". I followed with interest as it was auctioned this past weekend in Santa Monica Ca. It sold for $47,500.00 which seems like a very good deal to me for such a lovely "one off" car.
