UPDATE...Good afternoon all. Well, Miss Prudence was treated to a 35 mile ride on a AAA flatbed, to my friends shop, and we found that we had inconsistant fire. We finally pulled the distributor and disassembled it...to find that one of the two spring loaded weights that move the distributor cam had come dislodged from its position and was dragging around the edge of the distributor case completely out of its normal position. There was lots of very tiny ground metalbitd inside mixed with the grease that was in the distributor. We disassembled everything and cleaned it all and then put it all back together. We took one 10 mile test run and then I drove Miss Prudence home, 35 miles in city traffic and she did fine. All is well that ends well! Ernie
