Also, John Rinehart had his design - the one that was finally launched in '51 - basically done when the 23rd Series updated bathtubs were launched. Again, Christopher refused to approve it for production. Hugh Ferry approved it after Christopher was fired.

Compare the 22nd/23rd Series cars with the '49 Cadillacs. No comparison. Packard's fate was sealed, courtesy of Christopher.
