Hi A Packard Fan

Glad to see you are considering a 22nd-23rd Series model, many very nice examples turn up for sale as those were high production numbers years. I post the better offerings on the 'Various CL Pickings' thread in the cars for sale section when they appear.

My advice is to be choosy, investigate a number of cars before you buy. You'll be glad not only in your initial years of ownership and enjoyment but also when you go to sell. The advice here is first rate, we all love to see potential new Packard owners have a good experience, especially with their first car.

For comparison, this '49 Eight just turned up in the Boston area. Though a bit pricy, it looks quite good, may be worth your time to inspect as well. Good Luck.https://boston.craigslist.org/sob/cto/d/marshfield-1949-packard/6838317496.html

Good luck.
