I think $600 is very reasonable with all new parts and all the brackets, for an "off-the-shelf" kit.
ABS is located pretty close to me also, and pretty well known. They also have a manual dual master cylinder with a frame mount bracket that might be just the trick to replace the single frame mounted master cylinder that the 51- 54 use.
They even have a mini-booster version of it. It's always nice to have options!
