NO. There are many threads on whether to keep & rebuild the now infamous BTV
OR replace it with a new, modern dual MC setup. As have many others, I chose the latter:

When you step on the Easamatic brake pedal in heavy, closing traffic and suddenly
NOTHING HAPPENS, that will put the fear of god into you. I've had my conversion on my Pat for
TEN (10) years and it still works perfectly, every time.
