dwell changes on the 51

I was concerned that the vacuum dwell on my 51 200 might not be working correctly, so I put my dwell meter on it. At idle, it reads 30 degrees of dwell. Reving up the engine, the dwell goes to 25 degrees and stays steady. Is this correct? And if it isn't, what do I need to do to correct it? I've never had the vacuum dwell unit rebuilt. thanks
