easy way to remove the spring safely and reinstall it without the weight of the motor, is to get a threaded rod long enought to go in place of the shock absorber, make a 1/2 inch plate to go across the bottom of the lower control arm, do not use the original bottom shock mount. just tighten the rod up enought so the rubber bumper is not compresses, then you can remove the upper control arm bolts, and loosen the threaded rod off till you have no tension, rod should be about 8 inches longer than the distance from the lower control arm to the top of the shock mount.

Sand Blasting is the easiest way to clean the frame up, done a few so far, about 1200 lbs of sand over 2 day to clean the complete chassis.
