rear seat - 51 200

The rear seat on my 51 200 four door had some peculiar "poke-outs" on the corners. On pulling the seat and looking at it, it has been cut in several places and rewelded in the wrong places. There is a 55 Clipper in the wrecking yard here - any one know if the 55 seat bottom will fit in a 51? I know a 54 will, but there isn't one of those in the yard. The intent is to remove the new upholstery from the damaged seat frame and to install it on an unbutchered one.
