These help, but also make sure that your carb has the phenolic spacers between it and the manifold. I also installed a longer fuel line so that I could route the fuel line toward the passenger fender, then back, in order to get it away from the heat of the exhaust manifold. Also use non ethanol gas if you can, or add a little bit of diesel to each tank of gas. And there is always the ever popular wooden pins on the fuel line....
