Howard, this report is labeled with
"Confidential Information to Packard dealers" whereas the other snippet came as
"Confidential Information for Cadillac Retail Salesmen". As far as I can see, Packard was talking about facts but Cadillac delivered them.
There is one topic I would like to comment on, conscious that I come in as Monday-morning quarterback. Opel, the German GM daughter, started to build 9-main-bearing-engines
in 1928 and the Russian engines, I worked on, shall be mentioned too (picture attached).
Well, who I am to criticize? The Packard marketing employees were fighting up to their necks in it and I sit on my arm chair with an open box of chocolates on my desk while using internet.
