Howard, the wires to the horn relay and the carb switch on my Clipper were not clamped except on the carb switch itself. Never a problem for me, but another Clipper Custom was prevented from joining us on a Salado Early Bird Tour one meet because the wires were burned by the exhaust manifold. Some of the engine compartment wiring on my Clipper had been redone so can not vouch for its being same as original. The heft of the wiring loom seems not to need too much clamping to keep it in place.
