Here are photos of the switch internals and operating button.
The middle contact on the switch is the battery terminal and is contacted by the inside of the metal cylinder at the lowere end of the button for both up and down operation of the window.
For raising the window the lower outer part of the cylinder contacts the brass plate for the cylinder and the upper outer part contacts the plate for the pump motor.
To lower the window the upper outer part of the cylinder contacts only the cylinder plate as the lower part of the plate for the motor is angled farther away from center. The motor terminal is at the right side in the photo.
