Hi Don, looks like you got quite a job ahead of you. Just remember before you take anything apart take lots of pictures (Thank goodness for digital cameras!), it will help in the long run when you look back and say did this bolt go up or down and how did this wire run under or over this bracket.
If you get a chance post some pictures of the engine compartment. We are always looking for untouched Packard's to see how wiring and hoses were run, or at least I am.
