Rented a [long] trailer from an old-time rental place and hauled the 148" wheelbase '41 limo from Arizona to Kansas City. Used a Dodge 1500 pickup and also installed a trailer brake controller. Temperature in the desert was 110+. No problems. I used the same trailer/truck combo to move the '50 Custom from Moline Illinois. I found the '49 bargain Custom within 10 miles of home and it came on a tilt-back. No more room in the garage.
