I honestly don't know what it's a condenser for. There is one in the distributor next to the points. I'm not referring to this one. This particular one I'm talking about is another condenser mounted on the coil. It was originally wired to the negative terminal on the coil. This engine has not been started since 1975. I'm trying to bring it back to life. Replacing all condensers and points because I'm getting really weak fire. I'm just not sure I had this particular condenser ( the external one) connected to the right place on the coil.
