Shifter Rebuild Info Needed

If it looks like I need to remove the steering gear and therefore... IF...the steering column needs to be removed I might as well rebuild the shifter mechanism as the car has 90K on it and there have been a bunch of shifting during that time.

I have already replaced the shifter arm bushings.

Does anyone know what is required to rebuild the shifter mechanism???
