Mal, as all of us know, the connection between Packard and biscuits was strong. Appropriate to the season, I mention the Packard cookie cutter, famous the world over (an image, published on etsy.com is attached). Once, when the Packard factory moved from Ohio to Detroit, even a renaming to Pacookie Motor Car had been considered.
The Phantom constructors had regards to the feelings of Australian Packard owners, who lived in North Strathfield, next to the railway line and installed a hidden Arnott's biscuit drawer in the dashbord (see below).
