Oddly enough the numbers on the bearing cone and cup match...

Not odd at all, lots of universality of numbering between various ball and roller bearing manufacturers. Generally Fafnir, MRC, SKF, CJB (Ahlberg), Norma, New Departure, Federal, BCA and others would use the same last digits, sometimes inserting their own single digit or a letter as a prefix.
