fuel pump and carb trouble

I'm havin some trouble, I got a fuel pump rebuilt, and carb rebuilt however theirs an extreme amount of fuel shooting into the carb. I think It's the float but was checked twice. and the fuel pump is hitting 4 pounds of pressure. Any thing I should check or try? any info or opinions please
