1952 Packard Mayfair

Been so long since I have done anything on my 1952 Mayfair. Replacing the fuel pump and have a couple questions. The number on the side of the block is K402479, is that the correct year for this car. Also see picture, this was done quite sometime ago and now want to see the best way to fix. All of the interior is original and would like to fix or replace as close as possible.
