Either the .625 valve stems were never used in europe, or were phased out earlier than in the US. When I was getting my valve stems, my research showed that the large dia valve stems were used till the 70s. That could explain why tire shops in the US have them, and on this side of the pond they are scarce as hen's teeth.
Mine came in the mail today!!! So next week I can have them installed at my local tire shop.
