If a wheel cylinder is leaking that much and no sign of anything around the tubing I would think a slight moist or discolored streak or maybe a bit of excess dirt could be seen on the back of one of the tires. If you have power brakes, a leaking seal could also allow fluid to be sucked inside the vacuum section.
