The plate is the floor plate covering the brake and clutch pedals and is upside down in the photo as to how it is positioned in the car. With the way the clutch side has been cut and widened and a lesser extent the brake side I suspect at one time -- or maybe still -- there was serious wear on the pedal shaft or bushings and the wear is enough a pedal is able to wobble side to side and scrape the edges of the original opening. There is only one grease fitting located on the brake side of the shaft and I suspect just like my car, grease was sparingly applied or else the grease was applied until the grease person saw it running out of the brake pedal and quit so the grease application never reached the clutch side.

The long flat braces, if approximately 13-14 inches long on the straight portion between the bendups, look like those that go between the bottom of the fender and the side panels. Don't recognize the round ones without more checking but they may be the top braces. As the photo shows, mine are flat like the bottoms but possibly there was a change or a difference for the 2126 vs the 2122. They could go at the top between the mud shields and fender edge. You might check the bends to see if they look correct. Also might be for something else so I will try to look and find something similar in another spot but the only round braces I can think of at the moment are fairly thick and on the radiator cradle.
