Hoping the Q-tine is over soon so I can get a few things powder coated. Still lots of busy work to do tho. Thanks to your photos, I was able to locate the two holes to mount the OD cable bracket on the frame. Will clean that bracket today and undercoat it before bolting it down.
As for the brackets (round). It may be that they are just inventory I have from my dad's barn. He was strictly Packard until 1964 and knew the local service personnel (Gibbs Machinery, Columbia, SC) well. When they took over the VW imnports, they called and gave him three days to empty their parts bins to make room for new inventory ('63). Still have some of that laying around.
