Hub cap attached but spins on wheel when driving.

The hubcaps on the 2106 are very sturdy and heavy. My right front hubcap is firmly attached but, I can rotate it with my hand when the car is at rest. It squeaks when the car is underway.
What is the best way to fix this? I thought about adjusting the "fingers" that hold it on but remember when the hubcap when spinning off into the forest and I saw $400 of hoardered gold evaporating into thin air! I did recover it but is has a greater share of "patina" now.

Any suggestions?
