I have a good rear 12” drum from a 1953 that looks like it does not need to be turned. In fact it is close to the limit now at 12.055” so probably can’t be turned again, although I’m using the rule from my later ‘60s cars and it’s unclear what Packard’s specification for that was so maybe it can. A light sanding should do the trick on this one.

However, if you have 11” brakes, clearly this won’t work for you.
