You are right! I better plan to leave early in the morning. I hope I can get my crew to leave that early!
I did drive this car to an event once that was about an hour away from my house and it was in 90° weather in the DC area. Before I started I opened the cowl vent and all the vent wings including the ones in the back.
I was comfortable as long as I didn't stop. Of course there was a major traffic jam on the beltway and I had to stop and it was pretty awful. But once I started moving again it was fine.
