So my uncle saw this 51 for sale, no motor but it looks in nice shape otherwise, could drop a 454 into it and make it a sleeper car or something... anyway there is a 54 parts car upstate we could pick up for free, I'm wondering how much is in common a 51 200 and a 54 4dr, if it's worth picking up the 54 as parts for the 51 if needed. Mostly along the lines of drivetrain parts and such things. Interior on the 51 looks good and for sure he wouldn't use a Packard motor when he has a 454 lying around. He's done projects like this before, making rat rods etc. so that general sphere of things we already are familiar. Wondering more about the little details.
