Right. Body Style No. 1515 is a 1942 Clipper Custom 8 Club Sedan. This was the more deluxe version of the short wheelbase Clipper 8. But the car in the photo has the postwar grille. It could be that the car is a 1942, but was hit in the front at some point and repaired with postwar parts. They would easily fit and prewar parts may not have been readily available. This was once just someone's daily driver and they were probably more concerned with getting back on the road after a collision than keeping it strictly authentic. Cars were very scarce after the war and people did whatever they could to keep the older ones running.
