Well now wait a minute. If Packard used a plain steel tube in production then i'm guessing that it must have been an extremely THICK WALLED TUBE inorder to hold up to the heat and corrosion. But then that would be difficult to swedge too.

Is there some other means to attach the carb choke tube to the manifold?????

What size is the INNER DIAMETER of the choke tube in your manifold??? Is it real small????

Anyone have a FACTORY ORIGINAL choke tube???
