Forum Search Question by a newbie

Hello all. I am having trouble with the "search" and "advanced search" functions, and need help.

I am trying to search for answers in this forum about various topics, rather than asking things that have been already asked and answered. However, when I do so, it searches all of the forums. Is there a way to isolate my searches to just this one?
