There are two bolts pass through the body of the master cylinder into the frame rail. One of those bolts also acts as a pivot for the shifter linkage.

Remove the two bolts and the slide the master cylinder down and forward off the pedal push rod. But before you do any of this, you'll need to disconnect the brake swtich wiring and brake lines from the junction block on the front of the master cylinder.
