I knew that I saw some photos of a solid-colored 1954 Caribbean somewhere. It took a while, but I found them.

These were published in the Packard Club's January 1998 issue of the "Cormorant News Bulletin". According to the article, the photos were taken either on Sept. 22 or October 9, 1954 in Framingham or Quincy, Mass. The event was a "Fashionata and Motorama" to benefit Archbishop Cushing's Charities. The event was sponsored by local Packard dealers and drew crowds of several thousands.

At least six different '54 Packards are pictured in the article, all of them Seniors. There are two other Caribbeans pictured; both are painted a "normal" two-tone combo. But -- at least ONE solid-colored Caribbean was made. I do not know if it came this way from the factory or was done by a dealer after delivery.
