Radiator Cap - Proper lbs

Does anyone happen to know the correct lbs for a radiator cap on a 1954 Packard. Is it 7 lbs or 13 lbs. Mine says 13 lbs on it but I see one on Ebay rated at 7 lbs for the years 1941-1954. Does it really make a difference anyway? Thanks for your opinions on this - Frank
