I'm getting ready to install new valve guides and wonder if anyone has installed valve stem seals on the intake valves of a flathead? It looks like a GM seal will fit within the spring if the bottom of the guide is turned before the guide is installed. Any thoughts? This is my first Packard engine. Thanks.
