Yup, absolutely. I don't have a problem putting different years of Packard engines in different years of cars, but at least use a Packard engine in it. Even if it's a 320/352/374 in a '37 115 it's still ok in my book. The only time a non-Packard engine should be used is if you're using a BTV and need something attached to a chain to throw out the door to stop.
