In the back of my '54 Clipper the are angled fixed sheet metal foot rests(?) that are welded to to the floor. Did the hassocks attach over these?

Kev, the type of hassocks I was refering to and those shown in bingster's pix didn't "attach" to anything, gravity did the job.
