Owen, thank you very much for your input.

The number on my car is 2265-9-17219, which means that it is the 15218th car (17219-2001=15218)produced in this series.
Consequently it must be a VERY VERY late car of this series ;)

I will try to contact the German Packard Club (if active) and see, if I can find out more about the existing number of such Packards.

I will post it, if I have more info.
