I have been caught many, many times by the session time out limit. Do like Howard says and you won't lose what you've typed. Another way is to preview what you've been typing every 10 minutes or so as this "tells" PackardInfo you're still alive and doesn't time you out. Even saying that, I still get caught from time to time with my long winded Project Blog posts!
