Since there were still 6 cylinder taxicabs, chassis and export models in the 23rd series (1950), chances are it's one of those. Definately not a marine version. What's the engine number?

The industrial engines (White 3014 truck and other uses) were models 1T-245 and 2T-245; White called it a Model 55A motor. I don't know if either of those designations appeared anywhere on them but you might look. I don't know how the White engines were numbered, perhaps they had unique White numbers, perhaps not, but if they just continued the Packard numbers, they would probably be above the last engine# for a 23rd series car.
