Like to add my
to PackardInfo to that of Gerd's. And as Gerd says packardtaximan is a great source of information relating to Packard taxi's, and he'll probably join this discussion at some stage. Regarding parts to rebuild the engine both Kanters and Max Merritt should have the parts for this exercise. In the meantime I invite you to include your '49 Packard Taxi in the Packard Owner's Registry here on PackardInfo.
